The scenario
Education sits at the center of how families, schools, training centers, and educators shape skills and opportunity. The theme covers both school education and professional training (formation professionnelle)- not schools alone.
In Algeria, learners in schools and professional programs face dense curricula, tight timelines, and evaluation systems that are hard to modernize without breaking what already works.
Your mission is to design practical solutions that improve learning, communication, or teaching- in schools or in professional / vocational training- with seamless integration into existing realities, not a full rebuild of infrastructure.
Problem statements
Choose at least one problem statement - or several if your solution clearly addresses more than one. Solutions should be feasible to pilot in real Algerian school or professional-training contexts.

Help parents stay meaningfully connected to their children’s learning- progress, struggles, habits, and motivation- without adding noise or burden for families or educators (school or training settings).

Volume of material to memorize and comprehend
Learners must absorb and understand large amounts of material in short timeframes- in the Algerian school system and in professional training programs. Reduce overload, improve retention, and make comprehension more achievable.

Modernizing education and learner evaluation
Innovate teaching and assessment in schools or professional training in ways that are cost-effective and easy to adopt- tools that integrate with current infrastructure rather than requiring a full system restructure.

AI tools that benefit educators
Use modern tools, including AI, to support educators’ real workflows in schools or professional training: preparation, differentiation, feedback, and classroom or cohort management- amplifying educators, not replacing them.
Design principles
- Solve a real user problem- learner, parent, teacher, or trainer- with a clear outcome.
- Prefer integration over disruption: work with existing school or training-center processes where possible.
- Keep solutions cost-effective and practical to pilot.
- Make experiences simple enough to use under time pressure.
- Be transparent about AI use; keep humans in control of important decisions.
- Ship a demo you can explain: problem → approach → what works today.
